Theo officially becomes candidate

Theo Butt Philip and the Liberal Democrats offer the constituency and the country real change.

At Sedgemoor Council offices this afternoon, Theo Butt Philip confirmed his nomination as Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Bridgwater and West Somerset.

Speaking after handing in his nomination papers, Theo said, "This represents the official start of our campaign to give Bridgwater and West Somerset a better deal. For too long, people here have been let down by their politicians. Finally, we have a chance to change that."
