Save Minehead Magistrates' Court - Butt Philip

Theo Butt Philip has spoken out against the closure of Minehead Magistrates' Court.
Following the Department for Justice's announcement that it is planning to close the local court Theo Butt Philip said:
"Closing Minehead Magistrates' Court would be very bad news for local people
"When people have been the victims of have witnessed crimes they shouldn't have to travel long distances to have their day in court.
"This proposal is just another example of this Government's lack of understanding of rural communities.
"I want to encourage local people to take part in the Department of Justice's consultation and oppose the closer of yet another local service."
