European Parliamentary elections candidate Graham Watson will pay a visit to a Cornwall school today (21 May).
Mr. Watson - who is first on the party's list for the June 4 elections - will celebrate the culmination of a European exchange project with pupils at Lewannick Primary School near Launceston.
Pupils from visiting schools involved in the Comenius Project, along with parents and staff, will join Mr. Watson for the event this afternoon.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr. Watson said:
"I'm very much looking forward to celebrating this event today, alongside pupils and staff. The scheme gives these young people the chance to experience the cultures of other European countries, and enables pupils from other countries to get a taste of life in Cornwall. I'm hugely supportive of projects like this, which allow people in Cornwall to benefit from close ties with our European neighbours."
